Writer's Block

Tic Tic Time flies by
Tic Toc She wonders why
She had the words in her head
They cannot be written or even said
The scene is perfect
The mood divine
The story is a novel
A tale for all time
She wishes to write it
But where does she start
Once upon a time
In a far away land
No no too easy
It's gotta be different
It has to stand out
Lets start from the middle
Then write the beginning
She writes down bits and pieces
Wishing her hand was as fast as her mind
And tries to connect them
But it doesn't work
Maybe she should write a script
That sometimes works
A loud and rude noise
Interrupts her thoughts
Brings her back to reality
From her faraway land
Her kings and dragons
Her ships and planets
She looks up from her desk
To look at the time
It's five in the morning
Time to rise and shine
